Anne Hathaway Reteams With Christopher Nolan for ‘INTERSTELLAR’

20130410-113942.jpg

Anne Hathaway will be reteaming with Christopher Nolan to star in his upcoming sci-fi film, Interstellar. After being attached to star in Steven Spielberg‘s Robopocalypse and Spielberg taking the project back to the drawing board, Interstellar became the perfect blockbuster picture she was looking for. Since Nolan is a very secretive filmmaker, all we know about the plot is that it’s about “a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding.” Matthew McConaughey has already signed on as “Cooper” and now Deadline reports of Hathaway’s casting, and nothing else on either role. Hathaway clearly developed a strong working relationship with Nolan on The Dark Knight Rises joining Christian Bale, Marion Cotillard, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman and Michael Caine for the group of actors who have worked with Nolan on more than one film. Caine has been in every Nolan film since Batman Begins, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up in the cast of ‘Interstellar’ too.

Interstellar opens in theatres and IMAX on November 7th, 2014.

New ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ High Quality Images and TV Spot

20120707-093343.jpg

Though Warner Bros. won’t be bringing Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises to Comic-Con next week, fans certainly aren’t being shafted when it comes to new footage and images. Yesterday the film’s IMAX poster was unveiled, and now a new IMAX TV spot has emerged alongside new high-resolution images. As far as I can tell, the TV spot has a few bits of new footage. We’ve seen most of these new images in previous trailers and such, but the one with Nolan etching the Batman logo into the side of a wall with a piece of chalk seems to be the coolest, which is the image that makes up the cover art for the soundtrack of Hans Zimmer’s score, you can listen to 14 minutes sample of it here. The film was also screened for the critics today and apparently it got an standing ovation and comments were exceptionally positive.

Hit the jump to check out the TV spot and the high-resolution images. Make sure to also check out the first two tv spots, photos, posters and banners as well. Director Christopher Nolan’s closing piece to his Batman trilogy stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Ann Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard. The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters on July 20th.
